I've read books by British authors before, but I've never read something so british. The narrator lives in London so she uses all the phrases and words a british person would use; not to mention the constant talk of turning on kettles and drinking tea.
This is the perfect book if you just want to read a story and not have to think too hard, its all about the story. I could see it being the premise for a movie.
